Bangkok offers a wide range of transportation options for visitors. The city's public transit system includes the BTS Skytrain, MRT subway, public buses, and Chao Phraya River boat services, providing convenient access to major districts and attractions. Taxis, motorcycle taxis, and traditional tuk-tuks are also readily available.
Bangkok is served by two international airports: Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) and Don Mueang International Airport (DMK). Both airports provide convenient connections to the city center via public transportation and taxi services.
As road traffic can be heavy, especially during rush hours, visitors are encouraged to use the BTS and MRT whenever possible for faster and more predictable travel.
